Hi there! 

My name is Alaina Walder. I’m a candid lifestyle and wedding photographer working mainly out of the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. 

My parents took a lot of pictures while I was growing up. One of my favorite things to do was going through boxes of developed film. I would ask a million questions. “Who is this?” “Where were you in these pictures?” As I grew up, I realized that our pictures told our stories. My passion for photography grew from there. I received my first camera when I was 10 years old and started to capture photos of everything.  From that point forward my family has referred to me as, “The Memory Keeper”. My passion lies in helping you keep your memories and your moments. 

I am a mother of two beautiful souls, Nora and Eden. I am a wife to my best friend, Robert. My happiest days are spent with them. When I am not documenting life, you can find me in my kitchen baking up something tasty for my family and friends. Pastry is another passion of mine. I spent four years in culinary school learning that craft. I also spend a lot of time outside, when the weather is nice, specifically gardening or canoeing my neighborhood lake out to my favorite painting spot.
